• Account data: Name, email address, password (encrypted), language preference
• Listing data: Business name, description, pricing, contact details (email, phone, WhatsApp), images, and other listing fields you fill in
• Usage data: Pages visited, listings viewed, filters applied — collected anonymously

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account on VentureFlip
• To publish and display your listings to potential buyers
• To run AI verification on your listings
• To send transactional emails (listing approval, account notifications)
• To improve platform performance and user experience

3. Contact Information Visibility

Your contact details (email, phone, WhatsApp) provided in a listing are only visible to logged-in users. Unregistered visitors cannot see seller contact information.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Supabase: Database and authentication provider
• AI Verification Service: Listing content only, no personal account data
• Law enforcement, if required by applicable law

5. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. You may request deletion by emailing ventureflip.support@gmail.com. Deleted accounts and listings are removed within 30 days.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), password hashing, and row-level security on our database. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Terms of Service

By using VentureFlip ("Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before creating an account or listing a venture.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use VentureFlip. By using the Platform, you confirm that you are of legal age and have the authority to enter into agreements.

2. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• You must provide accurate information when registering and listing
• You must not share your account credentials with others
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access

3. Listing Rules

All listings on VentureFlip must:

• Represent a genuine venture you own or have authority to sell
• Not contain false, misleading, or exaggerated claims about metrics, revenue, or users
• Not involve illegal businesses, prohibited products, or stolen intellectual property
• Not infringe on trademarks, copyrights, or other third-party rights
• Pass our AI moderation review before going live

4. Prohibited Uses

You may not use VentureFlip to:

• Post fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading listings
• List businesses involving illegal products, adult content, weapons, or drugs
• Scrape or harvest data from the Platform
• Attempt to circumvent our AI moderation system
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Create multiple accounts after being suspended

5. Transactions

VentureFlip is a marketplace only. We facilitate connections between buyers and sellers but are not a party to any transaction. All deals, payments, and agreements are strictly between the buyer and seller. VentureFlip provides no escrow, payment processing, or transaction guarantees.

6. AI Moderation

All listings are reviewed by AI before going live. Our AI may approve, flag for review, or reject listings based on content analysis. Approved status means the listing passed automated checks — it does not constitute an endorsement of the listing's claims by VentureFlip.

7. Content Rights

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting on VentureFlip, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and promote that content on our Platform and social media channels.

8. Account Suspension

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, post fraudulent listings, or otherwise harm the Platform or its users. Suspended users may appeal by emailing ventureflip.support@gmail.com

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

VentureFlip is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of listings, the completion of any transaction, or the conduct of any user.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VentureFlip shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of VentureFlip after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email.

AI Verification Disclaimer

VentureFlip uses an AI-powered moderation system to review listings before they go live. This document explains how that system works, what it can and cannot guarantee, and what it means for buyers and sellers.

1. What Our AI Reviews

All listings submitted to VentureFlip are reviewed by an AI system before publication. The AI evaluates:

• Whether the listing appears genuine and not fabricated
• Whether the category matches the described business
• Whether the listing contains red flags for fraud or prohibited content
• Whether contact information appears real and valid
• Whether stated metrics (revenue, users) are plausible given the description

2. What "AI Verified" Means

An "AI Verified" badge on a listing means the listing passed our automated review at the time of submission. It means:

• The listing passed content moderation checks
• No obvious red flags were detected at the time of review
• The category and description appear consistent

It does not mean:

• VentureFlip has independently verified revenue, traffic, or user claims
• VentureFlip endorses the listing or guarantees its accuracy
• The seller's claims are confirmed as factually true

3. Limitations of AI Review

AI moderation is a first-line filter, not a guarantee. Our AI may:

• Incorrectly approve a listing that contains subtle misinformation
• Flag or reject legitimate listings in edge cases
• Be deceived by sophisticated fraudulent content
• Miss context that a human reviewer would catch

VentureFlip is not liable for any decisions made by buyers or sellers based on the AI verification status of a listing.

4. Buyer Responsibility

Buyers are strongly encouraged to:

• Conduct their own due diligence before entering any agreement
• Request proof of stated metrics (revenue screenshots, traffic analytics)
• Consult a legal or financial advisor for significant acquisitions
• Never transfer funds without independent verification of claims
• Report suspicious listings using the "Report" button on any listing page

5. Reporting Suspicious Listings

If you believe a listing is fraudulent, misleading, or violates our Terms of Service, please use the Report button on the listing page or email ventureflip.support@gmail.com. We investigate all reports and take appropriate action.

6. AI System Failures

If our AI system is unavailable or returns an error during review, the listing is automatically placed in a "suspicious" queue for manual review rather than being auto-approved. No listing goes live without passing some form of review.
